Michael S. Driscoll, PhD.

I am a licensed Clinical & School Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in neuropsychology, school psychology, and health informatics. I earned my PhD in School Psychology from Penn State and am licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Throughout my career, I've held leadership positions at Geisinger Medical Center, where I developed neuropsychological services for epilepsy surgery and deep brain stimulation programs.

I am the founder of Mental Health Informatics LLC and the creator of My Apprentice™, an AI-powered clinical decision support and report-writing system designed to reduce writing time by up to 75% while preserving clinician expertise. My work integrates technology with clinical practice to support decision-making and improve workflow efficiency for psychologists.

I remain deeply committed to advancing the field through innovative software development and lifelong learning in neuropsychology.

Education

I hold a Ph.D. in School Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, where I studied from 1987 to 1994. Additionally, I earned an M.S. in School Psychology from Bucknell University in 1986 and a B.A. in Psychology from Bucknell University in 1984. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in clinical neuropsychology, school psychology, and rehabilitation psychology.

Certifications & Licenses

I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania (#PS015336), New Jersey (#3649), and Maryland (#07200). I am also certified by PSYPACT and hold a Certificate of Professional Qualification (CPQ) in Mobility (#18270). I am an active member of the National Registry of Health Service Psychologists (#65570) and have been involved in various professional development roles, including faculty positions and clinical supervision.

Awards & Affiliations

I have received numerous professional recognitions throughout my career. I served as faculty in APA-approved post-doctoral and pre-doctoral neuropsychology programs and have been involved in multiple professional organizations, including the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Psychological Association, Division #40. I’ve also presented lectures at conferences, including the Geisinger Medical Center and the Northeastern Multiple Sclerosis Society. My work continues to be influenced by my long-standing involvement in neuropsychology and medical informatics.
